We're going to start fixing some minor things like a few loose screws and rearranging our wire management. We also plan on changing the end-effector to a less heavy material. This might be difficult due to the lack of available parts, but we can barter with a few people.
In honor of the greatest day of the year, we decided to put aside our robot and work on our 3D printed air raid siren. We also helped groups out with their robots, they thanked us with a high five. Cant wait for next week to help out other groups!
As of today, 10/12/2018, this is our current state of the robot for the challenge "Scoring High Caps and Flags." This is the Ball Launcher we used for launching balls at the flags, its main mechanism is the linear slide and the half-gear. As soon as the gear ends, the rubber bans that we will attach to the slide will apply a force great enough to launch the ball to turn the flag.
