As of were we are today, we've finished the midterm project with our robot and we passed with a B. It was our first run and we managed to do good at it. We decided to keep that score, because it don'st look like we're getting a better score than this. We are now taking a well deserved break. Also there was testing in our room, so we couldn't do much anyway.
We're going to start fixing some minor things like a few loose screws and rearranging our wire management. We also plan on changing the end-effector to a less heavy material. This might be difficult due to the lack of available parts, but we can barter with a few people.
From where we left off last time, we were getting ready to program autonomous and were about to start the podium challenge. We are practicing the podium challenge so that we are able to get the full amount of points for this challenge. Also, another thing that we are going to have to work on our robot's is the end effector; the previous one that we had was too heavy and too big, so we are going to have to downsize it so that it is lighter and easier to maneuver around. The claw/end-effector is a crucial part of the robot and is needed if we are to pass with a viable grade this midterm. On a separate note, we are now at our maximum motor capacity with our 12 motors. We have added our last, final motor to the robot, and it was pl aced in our launcher.
